Workshop on Collaboration in Asia for Spectrum for 5G
Tuesday 28th June 2016,
The workshop on spectrum collaboration in Asia for 5G was Co-Hosted by GSA, GSMA and GTI and was attended by those in government and regulatory positions as well as operators and vendors aligning on 5G services and products.
Asia, as a region, has been very active in promoting 5G technology. Both Korea and Japan announced their intention to showcase 5G in the upcoming Olympic events during 2018 and 2020 respectively. Alignment from an early stage on deploying 5G globally will be equally important.
