Two technologies are in the running to be deployed in V2X systems. This report does not compare the two. It is focused entirely on the development of the ecosystem around the 3GPP-based V2X technologies using LTE and – in the future – 5G. This report also focuses exclusively on trials and investments by the likely ultimate V2X technology buyers – telecoms network operators and government/public sector organisations.
