LTE AND 5G IN EUROPE: LTE NETWORKS HAVE NOW BEEN DEPLOYED IN EVERY EUROPEAN COUNTRY.
• 206 operators in Europe have been identified by GSA as investing in LTE (including fully mobile networks and FWA broadband networks using LTE).
• LTE has been launched by 180 operators in 53 countries in Europe.
• The last major not-spot, Bosnia and Herzegovina, gained an LTE network in April 2019, less than a month after Telekom Srpske (m:tel) was awarded its licence.
• LTE accounts for 47% of all mobile subscribers in Europe, up from 28% in two years.
