LTE NotSpots tracked since November 2018. LTE network launches have been announced in countries including Bangladesh, Libya, Mali, Mozambique, St Lucia and Syria. There were also awards of licences (or conversions of licences to enable LTE launch) in Burkina Faso and Mozambique.

Most LTE NotSpots are remote island territories and states, or countries in Africa: Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Guinea, Mauritania, Niger, South Sudan, and Western Sahara.

Other notable LTE NotSpots are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cuba, North Korea and Yemen.
