The number of LTE subscriptions globally is forecast to rise from 1.73 billion (end 2016) to 4.33 billion (end 2021) at which time LTE will account for over 52% of all mobile subscriptions.
LTE is expected to reach in 2018 more subscriptions globally than any other mobile system technology.
Figures exclude IoT / M2M connections.
