More than 430 operators have launched public LTE FWA networks
206 operators have launched commercial public 5G services, in 81 countries/territories
As of end of January 2022, GSA’s data showed:
•There are 806 operators with commercially launched public LTE networks offering broadband fixed wireless access and or mobile services
•Within this, GSA has identified:
•431 operators that have launched public LTE fixed wireless access services (excluding those offering MiFi or dongle services only)
•779 operators that offer public mobile LTE services
•165 #! operators have been identified as actively using (either deploying or have launched) TDD spectrum for LTE services
•600 #! operators have been identified as actively using (either deploying or have launched) FDD spectrum for LTE services
•371 operators are investing in one or more LTE-Advanced technologies, with 351 networks identified as launched
