These slides are a summary of data in the GSA GAMBoD database, a resource that is available to all GSA Members and Associates who are registered on the GSA web site.
More than 430 operators have launched public LTE FWA networks
As of end December 2021 GSA’s data showed:
There are 791! operators with commercially launched public LTE networks offering broadband fixed wireless access and or mobile services (a nett growth of 9 operators in 2021)
Within this, GSA has identified:
- 431 operators that have launched public LTE fixed wireless access services (excludes those offering MiFi/dongle services only)
- 735 operators that offer public mobile LTE services
- 165 #! operators have been identified as actively using (either deploying or have launched) TDD spectrum for LTE services
- 601 #! operators have been identified as actively using (either deploying or have launched) FDD spectrum for LTE services
- 369 operators are investing in one or more LTE-Advanced technologies, with 336 networks identified as launched

! Numbers restated since the last issue following the removal of some operators from our database to reflect their acquisition, failure or market withdrawal

GSA Research

GSA GAMBoD Database
Reports are based on extensive data contained in the GSA GAMBoD databases, which is a resource available to GSA Members and Associates. Companies and policy makers can subscribe, as a GSA Associate, to gain access to GSA databases and Member Reports for additional insights into the source data behind reports, which can be used for their own research purposes.
Discounted annual subscription are available to regulators, government agencies and licensed mobile operators.
