Spectrum Auctions September 2022

Report summary

This month’s update on global spectrum auctions and announcements. GSA has a large Spectrum Group that is active in all regions and is aligned along ITU lines; it is authoring reports about different spectrum areas from multiple frequencies.

Auctions and assignments are only included when firm decisions to assign the spectrum have been announced. Spectrum announcements under consideration or consultation are not included.

Auctions and assignments are removed from the calendar once the assignment process has been completed. Ongoing processes with no formal end date — for example, the administrative award of licenses available on simple application — are included in advance of the opening of applications, but are removed once the process has been opened.

A list of recently completed auctions and assignments is also provided for reference.
