    GSA: APT700 global status – regulatory, deployments, devices

    Industry support for the APT700 band plan is strong.     GSA: LTE1800 Global Status: network launches, user devices ecosystem

    The most widely used spectrum for LTE network deployments is 1800 MHz (3GPP band 3). 274 LTE1800 networks are commercially launched in 119 countries. 1800 MHz is used in over 47% of LTE network deployments and also has the largest user devices ecosystem. Over 61% of LTE user terminals can operate in the 1800 MHz band.     Status of the LTE Ecosystem report: 7,037 LTE devices announced by 517 suppliers

    This updated report was published by GSA on January 13, 2017 and confirms the mainstream and fast growing LTE user devices ecosystem. As a result of our latest research and verification process we have increased to 7,037 the number of LTE user devices we have verified as announced in the market, coming from 517 suppliers.     Global Growth of LTE Subscriptions to Q3 2016
