On April 24, 2018 at 1pm ET / 10am PT, Asha Keddy (Intel Next Generation & Standards Group, Intel) and Dimitris Mavrakis (ABI Research) will be participating in a Fierce Wireless Webinar entitled, “Building a Networked World.”  (Register here).   Please join for a discussion of the coming networked world, which will highlight an ABI authored paper exploring the transformative impact of 5G technology on industry, enterprises and consumers.

Webinar Abstract

Humans are the first to network beyond physical boundaries, creating immense value when new technologies are unlocked. 4G has created a wave of new applications, modernizing and digitizing both everyday life practices and business processes, but it’s only the beginning.  5G will augment today’s networks and remove the boundaries between the device, edge, network and cloud, when people will be able to utilize low-latency connections for instant access to their applications, content and communities.  We already see elements of this new world being built: edge computing, network slicing and a flexible radio network in 5G NR are key elements of the new networked world, where IoT, consumer communications and enterprise verticals will be enabled by different parts of the telecom network.
