4G-5G FWA: best practices for monetization and closing the digital divide.
FWA has emerged as a prime monetization use case for 5G. But what can we learn from the best practices being deployed by operators around the world?
At Network X (Paris, 25th October), GSA 4G/5G FWA Forum brought together senior representatives from CSPs and the FWA vendor ecosystem in a workshop titled 4G-5G FWA: best practices for monetization and closing the digital divide.
In the presentations, now available for download, GSA presented the latest global market data on 4G/5G fixed wireless access network deployments, spectrum and devices. Representatives from Three UK and Ireland’s Imagine shared how they are monetizing FWA services and important best practices that can be learned by fixed and mobile operators. Finally, the workshop looked at the role of the FWA value chain in the future success of 4G/5G fixed wireless access through a panel discussion with FWA Forum partners drawn from across the ecosystem.
