In 2014 GSA invited its Members and Associates to share their insights and experiences via the GSA website. This was part of its role to inform and educate the market about the opportunities from using mobile broadband technologies, (including HSPA, LTE and LTE-Advanced), and also to encourage thought-leadership. This resulted in a large increase of presentations and information papers available for download, complementing the many reports and papers produced and made available by the GSA itself via the website.

The number of Members and Associates papers published on the GSA website in 2014 was almost 70% higher than in the previous year. Member and Associate contributions are appreciated by visitors to the GSA site and the opportunity to share them is a highly valued benefit of GSA membership.

Analysis of download statistics for each contribution revealed that the topics attracting the greatest number of downloads and interest were 5G (with perspectives from Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia and Qualcomm), LTE-Advanced, LTE Broadcast, VoLTE, and the APT700 spectrum band. The chart lists the most downloaded topics, the number of downloads, and the authors. All of these popular papers were produced by leading industry players and are currently available for registered site users to download from the GSA website.

GSA will again feature high quality contributions from vendors and other leading industry players via its website during 2015. This will further assist registered users in understanding the drivers, challenges and opportunities from existing and evolved mobile broadband technologies and support the continued increase in mobile broadband user experience and how the industry can maintain growth and profitably.
