This report updates the GSA’s previous report on VoLTE, ViLTE and EVS, last published in January 2017, and the VoLTE network status update published in May 2017. We have not updated information on the status of the market for the EVS (Enhanced Voice Service) codec, as we have found no evidence of recent market movement; we know of only three instances where operators have launched services using EVS technology: (Vodafone Germany, NTT DoCoMo in Japan, and T-Mobile USA).
