5G private networks

The number of organisations known to be deploying LTE or 5G private mobile networks has passed 2,000 for the first time, spanning vertical industries and territories. Crucially, over three-quarters of these references tracked in the GSA private mobile database will generally not be found in the public domain, having been provided by members of the Private Mobile Networks SIG on the basis of anonymity.

With so many opportunities and regulators planning initiatives to make spectrum available for LTE and 5G private use, we can expect significant market developments over the next couple of years. With this growth will also come the challenge of device certification – while private network operators do have more control than public or consumer networks, they still need to be confident that all devices on their network conform to the appropriate 3GPP standard, and ensure interoperability, safety and reliable performance.

Join the GSA Research Team and the Global Certification Forum (GCF) in this 45-minute webinar and dig into the most comprehensive, independent and verifiable global data on private mobile networks available to the industry today.

Explore the latest data, including:

  • Private mobile network growth by region and the countries leading the way
  • Deployments by industry, and the technologies powering the networks
  • The status of commercial deployments, and the industries seeing the most rapid growth
  • The spectrum bands used by private networks, and the momentum behind dedicated spectrum for industry

Understand why device certification is key to the enterprise-readiness of private networks, including how GCF Certification is already available for devices based on 3GPP wireless standards being used in utility and private networks today and in the future.

Full and unlimited access to the detailed data is available exclusively to all employees of GSA Member and GSA Associate organisations subscribing to the GAMBoD database, plus members of the GSA Private Mobile Networks SIG.
