5G Devices Ecosystem July 2024
Since the previous edition of this report in January, the number of announced 5G devices reached a total of 2,741 devices. Of these, 2,348 are understood to be commercially available, representing 85.7% of all announced 5G devices. This is an increase of 62.3% in the number of commercial 5G devices since the end of December 2022.
Summary statistics from the latest update on the 5G device ecosystem include:

286 manufacturers with announced available or forthcoming 5G devices
2,741 announced devices, of which at least 2,348 are understood to be commercially available
1,084 announced devices with support for standalone 5G in sub-6 GHz bands, 890 of which are commercially available
Fixed wireless access CPE represents 10.9% of announced 5G devices, as more manufacturers continue to roll out the technology
Phones are the most prevalent 5G device, with the number of announced phones rising by 59% since the end of December 2022
The number of commercially available devices has been growing steadily since the start of the year and should continue in this manner.
