By arrangement with respected independent consultancy Arvani Group, we provide their insightful report from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, January 6-9, 2016.

According to the show’s organizers, CES had over 170,000 attendees with 3,800 exhibitors displaying in more than 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space.

CES 2016 showcased the refinement of products in several ongoing trends such as self-driving cars, drones, immersive TV viewing, virtual and augmented realities, 3D printing, and Internet of Things (IoT). Our focus around mobile and wireless and the broader connected tech topics aligns with key trends. Connected cars and “things” along with higher fidelity content as showcased at CES continue to drive the need for higher bandwidth mobile and wireless connectivity and welcome upcoming 5G.
