Progress of LTE 800 MHz Band 20 LTE deployment worldwide.

According to GSA data, 182 operators have commercially launched LTE networks using the 800 MHz Band 20 in 82 countries.  At present, Band 20 is the second most popular band used by public telecom operators around the world for LTE. Outside Europe, China Telecom and telecom companies in Cambodia, Fiji, French Polynesia, French Guiana, Georgia, Ghana, Guadeloupe and Somalia are among those providing commercial LTE in Band 20.

There are 28 Member States of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK. All but one of the EU member states are currently deploying or offering LTE in Band 20. Bulgaria is the only country that has not yet deployed LTE using that band. Outside the EU, Andorra, Lichtenstein, Macedonia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey have also deployed LTE800 on commercial basis. Poland is the only country, known to GSA, to have five live commercial LTE networks in Band 20.  Sweden, Russia and the UK have each launched four LTE 800-enabled networks.
