LTE IS DEPLOYED IN VIRTUALLY ALL CENTRAL AND LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES
- LTE has been launched by 114 operators in 47 countries/territories in Central and Latin America (including fully mobile networks and FWA broadband networks using LTE)
- Some of the world’s few remaining LTE ‘not-spots’ can be found in the Central and Latin America. They include Cuba and a number of small island territories/nations; GSA is not aware of LTE networks on the Falkland Islands, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines or on South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
- Etecsa (Cuba) is trialling LTE with a view to launching in 2019.
