LTE IS DEPLOYED IN VIRTUALLY ALL CENTRAL AND LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES
LTE has been launched by 114 operators in 47 countries/territories in Central and Latin America (including fully mobile networks and FWA broadband networks using LTE)
Some of the world’s few remaining LTE ‘not-spots’ can be found in the Central and Latin America. They include Cuba and a number of small island territories/nations; GSA is not aware of LTE networks on the Falkland Islands, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines or on South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
Etecsa (Cuba) is trialling LTE with a view to launching in 2019.
