Spectrum Auction Calendar – June 2026
Our June 2026 report provides an up-to-date overview of planned, ongoing and recently completed spectrum auctions and assignments for mobile broadband, 5G and related services globally. It reflects developments since the previous update in March 2026.
GSA has a large Spectrum Group that is active in all regions and is aligned along ITU lines; it is authoring reports about different spectrum areas from low- and mid-band to high-band frequencies.
The auction calendar includes all forthcoming auctions and assignments known to GSA. Auctions and assignments are only included when a definite decision to assign the spectrum has been announced. Spectrum under consideration or consultation for assignment is not included.
Notable upcoming auctions include:
- Paraguay, July 2026: 2.3 GHz (2300-2400 MHz) and 3.5 GHz (3700-3800 MHz)
- Japan, 2026: 26 GHz
- Mexico, 2026: 2.3 GHz, 3.5 GHz, 10.5 GHz, 38 GHz, 600 MHz, 800 MHz, 1.9 GHz and 2.5 GHz
- Lithuania, 2026: 2×10 MHz and 2×5 MHz in 1700 MHz, 3×20 MHz in 1500 MHz and 2×20 MHz in 2100 MHz
Recent assignments in June 2026 include:
- Pakistan: 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 3.5 GHz
- Austria: 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz
- Brazil: 700 MHz (708-718 MHz/763-773 MHz)
