On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM, room Jupiter 10, GSA and GSMA will co-host a 5G spectrum workshop at ITU Telecom World in Bangkok.

The first commercial 5G deployments may still be a few years away but what happens between now and 2020 will determine the success of the technology, as well as the many sectors of the economy that depend on broadband infrastructure. Alignment on spectrum from an early stage on deploying 5G globally will be equally important.

During this workshop, there will be discussions focused on spectrum bands for 5G for mobile, and the effort made by policymakers, mobile operators and equipment manufacturers to create the right environment for the technology, and for mobile, to thrive.
