Juho Lee is head of Samsung 3GPP Operation, a Samsung Fellow at Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics, and an IEEE Fellow. He is also working on research and standardization for mobile communications. His current research interests include the preparation of future technologies, such as 5G evolution, e.g., 5G-advanced in 3GPP and 6G. He was the Vice Chair of 3GPP RAN WG1 from February 2003 to August 2009 and chaired LTE/LTE-Advanced MIMO sessions. He also served as the rapporteur of the work item for specifying CoMP in 3GPP LTE-Advanced Rel-11.
