Forward Thinking for Spectrum – Getting Ready for 5G – Panel Session Presentations from GSMA and Qualcomm.

This presentation was given as part of the panel session at the ITU Telecom World event on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM, Jupiter 10

The first commercial 5G deployments may still be a few years away but what happens between now and 2020 will determine the success of the technology, as well as the many sectors of the economy that depend on broadband infrastructure. Alignment on spectrum from an early stage on deploying 5G globally will be equally important.

During this workshop, there was discussions focused on spectrum bands for 5G for mobile, and the effort made by policymakers, mobile operators and equipment manufacturers to create the right environment for the technology, and for mobile, to thrive.
