GSA 4G-5G FWA Forum to convene members in Barcelona to share best practice in FWA deployment

The Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) today confirmed details of its attendance at MWC Barcelona 2024. Representing the voice of the mobile ecosystem with members including vendors, operators, academia and regulators, GSA will be sharing the latest data on the global status of 5G spectrum, networks, technologies and devices and showcasing its GAMBoD databases. Throughout the four-day industry event, GSA representatives will be on the UK Pavilion, part of an ongoing investment in the future success of the mobile industry by the Department of Business and Trade (DBT).

GSA Working Groups and Working Group Partners will also be active with members and stakeholders attending MWC Barcelona. GSA’s 4G-5G FWA Forum, which represents the FWA ecosystem of CPE, module, chipset, software and infrastructure vendors, will meet on Tuesday 27th February and bring together representatives from across its 56-strong membership to share best practice in FWA deployments globally.

Joe Barrett, President, Global mobile Suppliers Association, commented: “The convening power of industry events such as MWC Barcelona remains as important as ever, helping stakeholders from across the mobile ecosystem make new connections, build partnerships and share insights and best practices with their peers. GSA has a long-standing partnership with GSMA and we’re delighted to be attending MWC Barcelona 2024. We look forward to again meeting with our members and together ensure the ongoing growth of 5G around the world and map the path to 6G.”
