LTE FDD

•There are 861 operators actively investing in LTE, and 750 operators running LTE networks in 223 countries worldwide
•These companies have been awarded spectrum in nearly 30 LTE spectrum bands identified by GSA
•The LTE FDD spectrum bands allocated/awarded to the highest numbers* of operators are:
•1800 MHz (Band 3) – widely licensed outside North America, with 410licensees globally
•2.6 GHz (LTE FDD Band 7)– licensed in all regions of the world, to 232companies
•800 MHz (Band 20), widely licensed outside the Americas (many of which have licensed the alternative 850 MHz bands 5, 18 or 19). Band 20 licencesare held by 222companies worldwide
•Spectrum at 2100 MHz and 700 MHz has also been widely allocated to LTE operators
